Midwest Dirt Carnival

The Midwest Dirt Carnival was born out of a passion for mountain biking, community connection, and celebrating the natural beauty of the Midwest. Located at the scenic Camp Decorah near Holmen, WI, this event highlights the incredible work of the local Boy Scouts, who have spent the past year building and improving trails for the community to enjoy. Our mission is to promote mountain biking and outdoor recreation while showcasing the dedication and creativity of those who help make this region so special.

This isn’t just a bike race; it’s a weekend-long celebration of everything that makes the Midwest extraordinary. Whether you’re competing in the elite 30-mile race, browsing the maker’s market, savoring local beer, or enjoying live music under the stars, there’s something for everyone. With activities for kids, opportunities to camp along the Black River, and even a lively bingo night, the Midwest Dirt Carnival is the perfect way to experience the charm of Holmen and the Driftless Region. Join us for an unforgettable weekend of adventure, community, and fun!
